Board Members
The Unitedworld board consists of the Academic Board and the Examination Board.
At Unitedworld, we try to nominate key industrial players with relevant academic
expertise at these positions, in order to build robust foundations for the school.
The Academic Board looks into the academic quality and rigour of the school. The
Examination Board is in charge of the development of examination and assessment
procedures.
Facilities at Unitedworld
History of Tampines The name Tampines comes from "tampinis", the
Malay name for a now near-extinct tree which provided strong and durable ironwood
timber. The district used to comprise fishing villages, which were later converted
into fish farms rearing freshwater fish. These fish farms were only recently relocated
to Pasir Ris, and were previously along Old Tampines Road...
